Step up. Lead forward. Be the future.

The I-LEAD Young Professionals program is a uniquely Tasmanian opportunity designed to celebrate and empower the next generation of leaders across all sectors.
Step into management and lead with confidence.

I-LEAD Young Professionals is designed to help people under 35 step into management roles, lead teams, and take on projects with ease. Whether you’re a new leader or already managing others, this program gives you the skills to grow your leadership and achieve greater results.

Enrol today to discover proven strategies to enhance your leadership skills, understand the psychology of human behaviour, and refine your leadership style. Learn how to motivate others, influence decision-making, and unlock your potential to bring out the best in yourself and your team.

The program runs from late July to September 2025, featuring eight engaging sessions that blend in-person workshops in Launceston and Hobart with six dynamic online sessions. Designed to fit busy schedules and support regional participation, weekly online gatherings allow you to apply insights immediately and stay on track for success.

Young professionals face unique challenges, and key elements that distinguish this program from other I-LEAD offerings include:

  • A diagnostic tool to enhance self-awareness and personal growth.
  • The opportunity to engage in a mentorship with a member of the Tasmanian Leaders Network.

Guided by experienced facilitators and industry leaders, I-LEAD Young Professionals explores key topics, including navigating complexity, leading beyond authority, strategic thinking, fostering reflective practices, and experimenting safely to drive innovation and growth.

Explore these critical areas and amplify your skills across three key domains:

Personal Leadership Development
  • Increase self-awareness and understand personal leadership styles.
  • Acquire practical resources for personal leadership growth.
Strategic Leadership Skills
  • Learn how to take on leadership roles effectively and responsibly.
  • Develop critical strategic thinking skills for complex situations.
Team Leadership Excellence
  • Enhance your ability to influence and create positive impact within organisational and team contexts.
  • Develop strategies to motivate, inspire, and lead others through effective networking, coaching, and delegation.
